I watched The Tonight Show where The Rock and Roman Reigns were to appear, speaking regarding their matche with Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins at the upcoming Wrestlemania this weekend.
Let me share my thoughts on it.
The return of The Rock for another match is one of the most notable aspects about this game. He is an all-time favorite of mine and therefore having him back in the ring once more is something that really excites me. Teaming up with Roman Reigns against Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins sounds like a wild match.
Well, Roman Reigns spoke about closing the book on Cody’s story, stating something like
“We don’t give a fuck about his story,”
that seems unfair to me though.
Everyone has their individual stories don’t they?
But then again I understand; wrestling thrives on competition. Roman added that every wrestler thinks they are number one at what they do. It’s just like a shark tank where everyone wants to be better than the other person.”
Then The Rock compared Cody Rhodes to Luke Skywalker and Seth Rollins to The Joker. That’s an amusing analogy, bringing in pop culture that way.
However, I must admit that the energy on the tonight show was low. I expected more from The Rock and Roman Reigns. Maybe it’s because Jimmy Fallon hosted instead of someone like Conan O’Brien who is known for his enthusiasm.
On the whole, I am excited about Wrestlemania 40. Especially because The Rock will be back in the ring again together with Roman Reigns; which is epic. More so, Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins aren’t any less tough either by any means at all. This is going to be great!
WrestleMania 40 is looking like a highlight not to miss for all wrestling fans out there. I’m eager to witness what unfolds in the squared circle at last.
