You can add an image or a GIF to your posts which will help them stand out and it gives a thumbnail for the post.
You can add a profile picture and banner picture for your account in the settings of the frontend you used to post here. If you used Peakd, you just click your profile in the upper right and just click "My Blog". After you get to your blog click the image circle towards the left. You can edit all your profile information there.

Maybe you can help me with this. Why does it say $9.04 and 136 votes? What is that $9 for? I'm lost at what that mean lol. Surely, it can't mean that I owe money or made money, right?
Yeah, upvotes here give you a portion of the weekly rewards pool. I sent you a link in the email that shows how Hive works. I'd recommend checking that out, but that $9.04 you see is some of the rewards you get. Half of that goes to you the author and half goes to the curators/ones who upvoted you. Depending how you have your rewards set up half of your authors half is as HBD (Hive-Backed Dollars) and the other half is HP (Hive Power).
