Wystawy tego typu zawsze przyciągają wzrok. Przynajmniej mój wzrok, ponieważ ciężko mi nie zwrócić uwagi i nie zachwycić się choć na moment z myślą "jak coś tak pięknego mogło powstać?", a przecież to "tylko" kamień".
Exhibitions of this type always attract the eye. At least my eyesight, because it's hard for me not to pay attention and be amazed at least for a moment with the thought "how could something so beautiful come into being?", but it is "just" a stone".
Uważam, że wystawy tego typu prócz walorów estetycznych, są również, w znacznym stopniu edukacyjne, ponieważ przybliżają odbiorcom zagadnienia dotyczące dzieje ziemi i geologii.
I believe that exhibitions of this type, apart from aesthetic values, are also, to a large extent, educational, because they bring the recipients closer to issues related to the history of the earth and geology.
Ja, tym razem - w sumie jak za każdym razem - znalazłem się na takiej wystawie przypadkiem. Wracając z tegorocznej imprezy sylwestrowej i przejeżdżając przez Zakopane, postanowiliśmy zrobić sobie krótką przerwę na małą kawę. Po wejściu do galerii handlowej i zmierzając do kawiarni miedzy piętrami ukazała nam się ta oto wystawa. Ilość różnorodnych kolorów, już od wejścia tak skutecznie rzuciły mi się w oczy, że nie mogłem nie wejść i nie pooglądać całości.
This time - as always - I found myself at such an exhibition by chance. Returning from this year's New Year's Eve party and passing through Zakopane, we decided to take a short break for a coffee. After entering the shopping mall and heading to the cafe between the floors, we saw this exhibition. The number of different colors, right from the entrance, caught my eye so effectively that I couldn't help but go in and watch the whole thing.
Wiele z tych kamieni było tak starannie oszlifowane i wykończone, że gdybym był dzieckiem, to pewnie bym się zastanawiał czy to nie cukierki to zjedzenia... Na szczęcie, dzieckiem nie jestem, to skąd w sumie to porównanie hmm...🤔 Najważniejsze jednak to, że żadnego z tych świecidełek nie zjadłem 😉.
Many of these stones were so carefully cut and finished that if I were a child, I would probably wonder if they weren't candies to eat... Fortunately, I'm not a child, so where did this comparison come from hmm...🤔 The most important thing though that I did not eat any of these trinkets 😉.
Nie tylko różnorodność kolorów była ogromna. Różnorodność kształtów oraz form końcowych, kamieni surowych jak i oszlifowanych, również była imponująca. Dla miłośników kamieni, takie wystawy to miejsca, w których myślę, że spokojnie można by spędzać godziny jak nie dnie, a przyglądanie by się nie nudziło. Te kamienie mają coś w sobie i mam na myśli aspekty czysto fizyczne czyli wygląd, kształt, kolor. Niby takie podobne do siebie a jednak każdy różny. Podobnie jak my ludzie, z tą znaczącą różnicą, że my mamy Nieśmiertelną Duszę 😉.
Not only the variety of colors was huge. The variety of shapes and final forms, raw and polished stones, was also impressive. For lovers of stones, such exhibitions are places where I think you could easily spend hours, if not days, and looking at them wouldn't get bored. These stones have something in them and I mean purely physical aspects, i.e. appearance, shape, color. They're so similar, yet each one is different. Just like us humans, with the significant difference that we have an Immortal Soul 😉.
Cieszę się, że przerwa w trasie na kawę, okazała się również spontaniczną wycieczką na oglądanie cudów przyrody.
I am glad that the coffee break turned out to be a spontaneous trip to see the wonders of nature.
