Another wandering around the open-air museum in Chorzów led me to the next interesting buildings. This time two, maybe not so much interesting but interesting.
Kolejna wędrówka po chorzowskim skansenie zaprowadziła mnie do następnych ciekawych budowli. Tym razem dwie, może nie tak bardzo zajmujące niemniej ciekawe.
The first of the buildings is a country cottage from Kromołów from 1960. Here, at first glance, you can see that something does not match the rural character of this cottage. Hardly anyone whitewashed, painted their houses white.
Pierwsze z zabudowań to wiejska chałupa z Kromołowa z 1960 roku. Tu już na pierwszy rzut oka widać, że coś tu nie pasuje do wiejskości tej chałupy. Mało kto bielił, malował na biało swoje domostwa.
This is no coincidence, because this type of houses already presented the so-called urban type. The interior of the house also looks different than a classic country cottage. Everything is whitewashed, a table covered with a tablecloth, an oil lamp on the table, a wooden chest of drawers in the corner, a wardrobe and chairs made of bent wood. This indicated a higher social status.
To nie przypadek, ponieważ tego typu domy prezentowały już tak zwany typ miejski. Również wnętrze domu wygląda inaczej niż klasyczna wiejska chałupa. Całość jest wybielona, stół nakryty obrusem, na stole lampa naftowa, w rogu drewniana komoda, szafa i krzesła nie byle jakie, ale z giętego drewna. To świadczyło o wyższym statusie społecznym.
In the farm, of course, domestic animals, in this case a few white goats. I am unable to say whether goats were actually bred in Kromołów at that time. Perhaps this is just an additional attraction of the museum.
W zagrodzie oczywiście zwierzęta domowe, w tym wypadku kilka białych kóz. Nie jestem w stanie powiedzieć, czy rzeczywiście w tym okresie w Kromołowie hodowano kozy. Być może to tylko dodatkowa atrakcja muzeum.
Another interesting place in the open-air museum is the Evangelical Church. This place is rarely visited by walkers and tourists, because it is located a bit off the beaten path of the open-air museum. It was my first time there, although I've been to the open-air museum a few times.
Drugim ciekawym miejscem w skansenie jest Kościół Ewagnelicki. To miejsce bardzo rzadko odwiedzane przez spacerowiczów i turystów, bo leży nieco na uboczu skansenu. Sam byłem tam pierwszy raz, choć w skansenie bywałem już kilkukrotnie.
The church dates back to 1932 and originally stood in Bytom-Bobrek. The church tells the story of Silesian Lutherans. Unfortunately, when I walked around the museum, the church was closed. Nevertheless, all the interiors are finished and prepared for the visit of the faithful. From 2023, regular masses are to be held there.
Kościół datowany jest na 1932 rok i pierwotnie stał na terenie Bytomia-Bobrka. Kościół opowiada historię śląskich Luteran. Niestety kiedy spacerowalem po muzeum kościół był zamknięty. Niemniej wszystkie wnętrza są ukończono i przygotowane na wizytę wierny. Od 2023 roku mają się tam odbywać regularne msze.

Nearby, under the shed, there is a horse-drawn carriage from that period. You can see that it is on the so-called grazing, because it is made of solid wood, sprung, and the seats are covered with leather.
Nieopodal pod wiatą stoi zaprzęg konny z tamtego okresu. Widać że jest na tak zwanym wypasie, bo wykonany z solidnego drewna, resorowany, a siedziska obite są skórą.
I was laughing so much that this vehicle is a Maybach of the then priest 😉
Tak się trochę podśmiewałem, że ten pojazd, to taki Maybach ówczesnego księdza 😉
