Today’s verse is good for those of us that want to emanate the life of Christ. Being a follower of Christ and having the Holy Spirit isn’t a guarantee of an easy life. We are still tempted by satan.
However, we have a way out. We can say no to satan. Another way to think about it is to say YES to the Lord. We can say yes, I have the choice to do what I want. However, I chose what I know is right. We can choose, “thy will be done”.
