Volar es un privilegio de pocos
El ser humano tiene una obsesión antigua con el cielo. Quizás porque nacemos sin alas, siempre hemos buscado la forma de fabricarlas. El parapente es esa respuesta tecnológica a nuestra envidia biológica: unos minutos donde logramos engañar a nuestro propio peso.

La captura de @lanzjoseg ilustra esto perfectamente, pero con un matiz interesante. No es solo la foto de un hombre volando bajo una vela bicolor; es un retrato de la distancia entre el que actúa y el que observa. Arriba tienes la inmensidad, el mar, las islas. Abajo, el concreto y la baranda de madera donde se apoyan los espectadores.
Esa barrera física en la foto se siente también como una barrera económica. Volar es un privilegio caro y esa es la realidad: muchos quisiéramos estar ahí arriba, pero nos toca quedarnos abajo, aplaudiendo la hazaña ajena con los pies en la tierra.
Lo bonito de esta crónica visual es que no es triste. Al congelar ese instante, el fotógrafo nos regala un poco de esa libertad. No necesitamos pagar el curso para sentir el vértigo del paisaje. Esta imagen nos dice que, aunque nos quedemos en la plataforma, la experiencia de ver a alguien cumplir ese sueño ancestral también es una forma de volar.

Flying is a privilege for the few
Human beings have an age-old obsession with the sky. Perhaps because we are born without wings, we have always sought ways to create them. Paragliding is that technological answer to our biological envy: a few minutes where we manage to defy our own weight.

The photograph by @lanzjoseg perfectly illustrates this, but with an interesting nuance. It's not just a picture of a man flying under a two-toned canopy; it's a portrait of the distance between the performer and the observer. Above, you have the immensity, the sea, the islands. Below, the concrete and the wooden railing where the spectators lean.
That physical barrier in the photo also feels like an economic barrier. Flying is an expensive privilege, and that's the reality: many of us would like to be up there, but we have to stay below, applauding the feat of others with our feet firmly on the ground.
The beauty of this visual chronicle is that it isn't sad. By freezing that instant, the photographer gives us a taste of that freedom. We don't need to pay for a course to feel the vertigo of the landscape. Saludo amigos, tener la oportunidad de ver los cielos es algo increíble y es inevitable quererse un buen rato, además si se tiene el tiempo uno sacará algunas fotos, pero volar ya es de otro nivel y como mencionas no todo el muñid puede hacerlo, ya que es un lujo algo caro y la única manera que queda es mediante las fotografías.
