En esta ocasión les traigo la historia de una de las presentaciones de mi hija Marina, esta fue el día en que la compañía donde ella baila, presentó una obra en honor a la Virgen del Valle.

El grupo bailó varias piezas en su mayoría polos margariteños, que son los que más se usan para hacer este tipo de actuaciones y otras piezas del género musical folklórico Oriental venezolano, todos los temas, referentes a la fiesta de la Virgen del Valle, que se celebra cada 8 de septiembre, vida como la patrona del oriente venezolano y de los pescadores en el mar.
Una de las partes más emocionantes cuando sale la representación del espíritu de la virgen, envuelta en un velo blanco lumínicente y una corona de conchas de nácar con luces incorporadas, sale bailando alrededor de todos los que estaban rindiendo un tributo a la imagen virginal.
