San Francisco de Yuruani
Una imagen que me evoca recuerdos y momentos vividos en El poblado de San Francisco de Yuruani, donde compartí con unas grandes personalidades pertenecientes a las etnias indígenas de los pemones, tuve la gran oportunidad de conocer un poco de su cultura y tradiciones .
Ubicado al sureste de mi país Venezuela, en el estado Bolívar, perteneciente al municipio gran Sabana.
Hace aproximadamente 34 años me embarque en una aventura a la gran Sabana y nos hospedamos en esa comunidad, a parte de ser mas económico es un ambiente muy natural y pintoresco, la calle principal rodeada de bohios, churuatas y chozas, consigues desde hospedaje hasta abastecerse de víveres y comprar artesanía para el recuerdo.
Desde aquí se organizan excursiones para los diferentes parques, balnearios, cascadas y saltos en el monte Roraima, por lo tanto es una buena opción para visitarlos.
Te dan la bienvenida con sus tradiciones culturales cómo cantos, bailes, comidas y bebidas, por cierto degusté una sopa de pescado muy muy picante, el caldo era pasable pero la carne era el propio picante imposible comerla y ellos viendo, se burlan cuando haces gestos incomodos al probarla, también la comida cocida en hojas de platanos, verlos hacer su casabe realmente es una cultura muy amplia y versátil que te deja con una experiencia adquirida.
De todo lo que comparti en esse viaje agregué una nueva palabra a mi vocabulario Waküpero Mu'pakai que significa buenos días, para los Pemones es fácil comunicarse ya que en las aldeas escolares tienen acceso al idioma castellano.
Esa imagen revivió grandes recuerdos y sentimientos aunque la vestimenta del mural no todos la usan o la usan solamente para ceremonias importantes o significativas, pero asi vi a unos cuantos vesridos asi, sobre todo cuando emprendes el recorrido por los diferentes sitios de interés.
De verdad que fue una bonita aventura estar en medio de ésta comunidad de indígenas pemones, conocerlos,interactual, estar allí y dejarte guiar por ellos es el mejor valor agregado cultural puedes agregar a tu vida.

San Francisco de Yuruani
An image that evokes memories and moments lived in the town of San Francisco de Yuruani, where I shared with some great personalities belonging to the indigenous ethnic groups of the Pemons, I had the great opportunity to learn a little about their culture and traditions. Located in the southeast of the country Venezuela, in the Bolívar state, belonging to the Gran Sabana municipality. Approximately 34 years ago I embarked on an adventure to the great Sabana and we stayed in that community, apart from being cheaper it is a very natural and picturesque environment, the main street surrounded by bohios, churuatas and huts, you can get from lodging to supplies of groceries and buy souvenir crafts. From here excursions are organized to the different parks, spas, waterfalls and jumps on Mount Roraima, therefore it is a good option to visit them. They welcome you with their cultural traditions such as songs, dances and food. By the way, I tasted a very very spicy fish soup, the broth was passable but the meat itself was spicy, impossible to eat and they, watching, make fun when you make uncomfortable gestures when trying it. , also the food cooked in banana leaves, seeing them make their cassava really is a very wide and versatile culture that leaves you with an acquired experience. From everything I shared on that trip, I added a new word to my vocabulary Waküpero Mu'pakai which means good morning, for the Pemones it is easy to communicate since in the school villages they have access to the Spanish language. That image revived great memories and feelings, although not everyone wears the mural clothing or only uses it for important or significant ceremonies, but I saw a few dressed like this, especially when you undertake the tour of the different places of interest. It really was a beautiful adventure to be in the midst of this community of indigenous Pemon, meet them, interact, be there and let yourself be guided by them is the best cultural added value you can add to your life. So far my participation, I hope you like it.
