Aquí vengo con una nueva entrada al concurso TopFiveFamily Observa Piensa Escribe
Mi pensamiento al ver ésa imagen me lleva a 1988 recién graduada de bachiller, fuí a pasar una temporada con unas primas a Caracas, allí hicimos varios paseos entre ellos al Jardín botánico, fue la primera vez que admiré la belleza de los cactus como planta ornamental, ví una gran variedad, no sabía ni siquiera que florecían, yo los únicos cactus que había visto era en el campo sencillos de una sola especie, nunca los ví florecer.
También mi pensamiento recae en mi jardín, en lo bello y beneficioso de vivir conectada con la naturaleza, mi jardín está dotado con gran variedad de plantas ornamentales entre ellas algunos cactus y suculentas.

My thoughts when I see that image take me to 1988, recently graduated from high school, I went to spend a season with some cousins in Caracas, there we took several walks among them to the Botanical Garden, it was the first time that I admired the beauty of cacti as an ornamental plant I saw a great variety, I didn't even know that they bloomed, the only cacti I had seen in the field were simple ones of a single species, I never saw them bloom.
My thoughts also fall on my garden, on the beauty and benefits of living connected with nature, my garden is endowed with a wide variety of ornamental plants, including some cacti and succulents.

Los cactus son plantas que almacenan muchísima agua en interior, no necesitas regarlas muy a menudo, eso lo aprendí después de haber dañado uno que me regalaron, pueden sobrevivir a altas temperaturas y en desiertos, su exterior está cubierto de espinas, las cuales actúan como escudo protector a las adversidsdes como climas y animales.
Tener un cactus en casa además de tener un bello adorno ornamental es tener un aliado para nuestra salud ya que por la humedad que posee tiene la facultad de purificar el aire que respiramos, mejorando nuestra calidad de vida.
Cacti are plants that store a lot of water indoors, you don't need to water them very often, I learned that after damaging one that was given to me, they can survive high temperatures and in deserts, their exterior is covered in thorns, which act as protective shield against adversities such as weather and animals.
Having a cactus at home, in addition to having a beautiful ornamental decoration, is having an ally for our health, since due to the humidity it possesses, it has the power to purify the air we breathe, improving our quality of life.

Los cactus simbolizan exitos, fuerza, fé , poder, protección, al regalar uno estás transmitiendo paz, armonía, fortaleza interna y una gran energía positiva.
Los cactus tardan mucho tiempo en florecer pero la espera vale la pena, sus flores son hermosísimas, cuando lo hacen significa que te están dando las gracias por el cuidado que les diste poca agua, mucho sol y mucho amor.
Cactus symbolize success, strength, faith, power, protection, by giving one away you are transmitting peace, harmony, internal strength and great positive energy.
Cacti take a long time to bloom but the wait is worth it, their flowers are beautiful, when they do it means they are thanking you for the care you gave them with little water, lots of sun and lots of love.

Siempre aprendemos algo nuevo, no sabia que purificaba el aire, vale la pena tenerlos en casa, aunque yo los vea sin ninguna gracia.
