CONTENIDO EN ESPAÑOL
¡Hola a todos los integrantes de ésta comunidad y amantes de la escritura creativa! Una vez más, me sumo a ésta nueva ronda del concurso semanal 😉
¡Que recuerdos me trajo esa fotografía! Durante más de quince años, estuve viviendo en una zona campestre, así que tuve contacto cercano con la naturaleza. Aunque no se crean, tampoco es que fuese buena en el ámbito de las plantas.
Inclusive durante la secundaria, había una materia en donde nos explicaban detalladamente sobre las plantas, su cultivo y cuidados. En ese tiempo, no le di mucha importancia a la materia y sólo me enfocaba en la parte teórica y evitaba lo más que podía la parte práctica. Por su lado, mis compañeros sembraran algunas plantas en el pequeño espacio en el jardín del centro educativo y al tiempo, dieron sus frutos.
Recuerdo que como proyecto final, nos pusieron por equipos y tuvimos que sembrar un árbol de Chaguaramos. Allí si participé jaja con los años, luego de graduarme, volví a ese lugar y pude notar que muchos de esos árboles habían crecido y algunos, habían perecido. Fue lindo pensar en que contribuimos un poco con ese acto.
En mi casa, tuve una temporada que me gusta llamar de "granjera". En ese tiempo, traté de sembrar algunas plantas en el terreno que había detrás de la casa. Aquella actividad fue una tarea titánica, dado que la tierra no era apta para sembrar, siendo en su mayoría escombros que traían de casas contiguas.
Aún así, me aventuré a sembrar mis semillas con los consejos de una señora que era amiga mía. Sembré algunos frijoles y ajíes, así como estuve al pendiente de regar una planta de tomates cherrys que había crecido inesperadamente. Con perseverancia y fe, con el tiempo mis plantas fueron creciendo hasta el punto de darme cosecha.
De ese modo, mi día siempre comenzaba saliendo al terreno con una taza en la que solía recolectar pequeñas vainas de frijol, tomates y ajíes, que luego eran usados para las comidas. Me sentía realmente como toda una granjera jaja hasta que las plantas se murieron cuando me fui de casa por trabajo y nadie más cuidó de ellas. Aunque, fue una buena experiencia.
Ahora que me encuentro habitando en la ciudad, mentiría si dijera que no extraño lo agradable de ver las plantas mecerse con el viento o los insectos acercándose a recolectar polen. Por suerte, hay espacios abiertos a los que puedo acceder cuando necesito tomar un respiro y volver a formar parte de la naturaleza.

Hello to all the members of this community and lovers of creative writing! Once again, I join this new round of the weekly contest 😉
What memories that photograph brought back to me! For more than fifteen years, I was living in a rural area, so I had close contact with nature. Believe it or not, it's not like she was good at plants.
Even during high school, there was a subject where they explained to us in detail about plants, their cultivation and care. At that time, I did not give much importance to the subject and I only focused on the theoretical part and avoided the practical part as much as I could. For their part, my classmates planted some plants in the small space in the garden of the educational center and in time, they bore fruit.
I remember that as a final project, they put us in teams and we had to plant a Chaguaramos tree. I did participate there haha over the years, after graduating, I returned to that place and I could notice that many of those trees had grown and some had perished. It was nice to think that we contributed a little to that act.
At home, I had what I like to call a "farm" season. At that time, I tried to plant some plants in the land behind the house. That activity was a titanic task, given that the land was not suitable for planting, being mostly rubble brought from adjacent houses.
Even so, I ventured to sow my seeds with the advice of a woman who was a friend of mine. I planted some beans and chili peppers, as well as being careful to water a cherry tomato plant that had grown unexpectedly. With perseverance and faith, over time my plants grew to the point of giving me a harvest.
In this way, my day always began by going out to the field with a cup in which I used to collect small pods of beans, tomatoes and chili peppers, which were then used for meals. I really felt like a real farmer haha until the plants died when I left home for work and no one else took care of them. Although, it was a good experience.
Now that I find myself living in the city, I would be lying if I said that I don't miss the pleasure of seeing plants swaying in the wind or insects coming to collect pollen. Luckily, there are open spaces I can access when I need to take a breather and become part of nature again.
