Hello everyone, I hope you are having a great day, here I am again writing for you, this time participating in this nice contest that brings us Prof. @lanzjoseg that for a long time has accustomed us with its contagious dynamics to enter and participate in their contests through the community #TopFamily, this time is the observe, think and write, which surely nourish us and enrich us in knowledge.
La imagen que esta semana nos trae nuestro amigo @lanzjoseg, es por demás tierna; representa la supervivencia de una especie, de un animal, que muchas veces el ser humano sin darse cuenta lo está llevando a la extinción. Un nido de aves es el hogar dulce hogar de algún ave que lo elabora para criar a sus huevos y polluelos. Sin duda, es una obra de arte lo que hacen esas aves, a la hora de construirlos; ponen todo su esfuerzo, responsabilidad, disciplina, constancia. Para ellos el tiempo no existe, no existe el cansancio, lo hacen bajo lluvia, bajo el sol inclemente, no les importa cuántas veces deben de ir a buscar ramitas por ramitas, que recogen con sus picos o patas, desde ese lugar lejano, para llevarlos hasta el lugar en donde están elaborando su nido. Muchas veces corren el riesgo de ser devorados por algún animal más grande y fuerte que ellos, formando asi, parte de la cadena alimenticia del reino animal. La verdad es que son animales dignos de admirar.
The image that this week brings us our friend @lanzjoseg, is very tender; it represents the survival of a species, of an animal, that many times the human being without realizing it is taking it to extinction. A bird's nest is the home sweet home of a bird that makes it to raise its eggs and chicks. Undoubtedly, it is a work of art what these birds do when building them; they put all their effort, responsibility, discipline, constancy. For them, time does not exist, fatigue does not exist, they do it under rain, under the inclement sun, they do not care how many times they have to fetch twigs for twigs, which they pick up with their beaks or feet, from that distant place, to take them to the place where they are building their nest. Many times they run the risk of being eaten by a larger and stronger animal than them, thus becoming part of the food chain of the animal kingdom. The truth is that they are animals worthy of admiration.
Recuerdo que cuando era un chico adolescente, me reunía con muchos amigos del sector donde residía y nos íbamos caminando para el río que nos quedaba muy cerca, solo que había que adentrarse en las montañas. Era algo espectacular, esa conexión con la naturaleza, el sonido de agua bajando por las laderas de las montañas, el cantar de los pájaros cada mañana. Entre los árboles se veían muchos nidos de aves, de diferentes formas, tamaños y elaborados con distintos materiales, pero cada nido representaba algo para esas aves, que hacían vida allí; era su hogar. Un lugar tierno y acogedor, construido con mucho esfuerzo, para la cría de sus polluelos. Muchas veces algunos compañeros agarraban piedras y palos, para tratar de tumbarlos los nidos de los árboles, pero eran para mí; lo hacían sin conciencia. Luego uno le hablaba a esa persona y trataba de explicarle que lo que estaba haciendo no era correcto. Algunos entraban en razón, otros simplemente te toman de burla, pero asi es el ser humano, cada cabeza es un mundo y todo pensamos distinto. Estos nidos suelen ser construidos con diferentes materiales, muchas veces utilizan hojas, musgo, lana, telarañas, plumas, entre otros materiales. Cada ave tiene una forma sin igual de construir su nido, pues algunos los hacen redondos, otros ovalados, cuadrados. Su tamaño suele variar desde algo muy chico, quizás centímetros hasta metros de diámetros y un punto muy esencial. Las aves son muy meticulosas a la hora de construir sus nidos; siempre buscan la ubicación perfecta, lejos de algún depredador animal o humano.
I remember when I was a teenager, I used to get together with many friends from the area where I lived and we would walk to the river that was very close to us, but we had to go deep into the mountains. It was something spectacular, that connection with nature, the sound of water running down the slopes of the mountains, the birds singing every morning. Among the trees there were many birds' nests, of different shapes, sizes and made of different materials, but each nest represented something to those birds, who made a life there; it was their home. A tender and cozy place, built with a lot of effort, for the rearing of their chicks. Many times some of my companions would grab stones and sticks to try to knock the nests out of the trees, but they were for me; they did it without conscience. Then you would talk to that person and try to explain to them that what they were doing was not right. Some of them came to their senses, others simply made fun of you, but that's how human beings are, each head is a world of its own and we all think differently. These nests are usually built with different materials, often using leaves, moss, wool, spider webs, feathers, among other materials. Each bird has a unique way of building its nest, as some make them round, others oval, square. Their size usually varies from something very small, perhaps centimeters to meters in diameter and a very essential point. Birds are very meticulous when building their nests; they always look for the perfect location, far from any animal or human predator.
Hay algo que toda la vida me llamó la atención y es la simetría con que las aves hacen son nidos, nosotros simplemente cuando pasamos entre árboles observamos una bola, un cono, un cuadrado, elaborado con cualquier material, que las aves utilizan. Pero de allí no pasa, pues el ser humano simplemente ve eso un nido de aves, pero que hay más allá. En cuanto a su simetría, estos nidos son elaborados muy cuidadosamente, son como hechos por ingenieros sin estudiar, pues ellos requieren de estabilidad, para poder resistir los fuertes vientos y lluvias que caen en cualquier momento. También suelen ser bastante seguros para proteger a sus crías de los depredadores. Hay algo muy importante en cuanto a la elaboración y tipo de nido, y es que ellos se pueden comunicar a través de los nidos, pues dependiendo de su forma y tipo de elaboración, ellos saben qué tipo de ave está habitando dicho nido. Por eso les digo que son animales con un uso de raciocinio muy elevado, pues deben de luchar contra todo para garantizar la supervivencia de la especie a través del tiempo.

There is something very important regarding the elaboration and type of nest, and that is that they can communicate through the nests, because depending on their shape and type of elaboration, they know what type of bird is inhabiting the nest. That is why I say that they are animals with a very high use of reasoning, because they must fight against everything to ensure the survival of the species over time.
Recuerdo que el domingo pasado, yo estaba en el trabajo en el turno de la tarde y observo por la ventana dos águilas inmensas, que estaban en el suelo caminando. Pero ellas no estaban dando un paseo, estaban recogiendo ramas y se las llevaban. Asi pasaron horas haciendo el mismo trayecto, sin duda estaban construyendo un nido, cerca del lugar donde trabajo. Por eso les digo: son animales ejemplares, estimo que asi debe de ser cada animal en sus diferentes especies, pero en esta ocasión le tocó el turno a las aves y hablar de su hogar, dulce hogar. Es por ello que les invito a preservar el medio ambiente, a cuidar de nuestros animales y a dejarlos vivir tranquilos. Las aves nacieron para volar, para ser libres, para abrir sus alas y apuntar al firmamento. Dejándose ver entre las nubes hasta perderse en el horizonte.
I remember last Sunday, I was at work in the afternoon shift and I observed through the window two huge eagles, which were on the ground walking. But they were not taking a walk, they were picking up branches and carrying them away. They spent hours making the same journey, no doubt they were building a nest near the place where I work. That is why I tell you: they are exemplary animals, I believe that every animal in their different species should be like that, but this time it was the birds' turn to talk about their home, sweet home. That is why I invite you to preserve the environment, to take care of our animals and let them live peacefully. Birds were born to fly, to be free, to open their wings and point to the sky. Letting themselves be seen among the clouds until they get lost in the horizon.
