La piscina es sinónimo de disfrute, vacaciones, esparcimiento y distracción. A mi niña le gusta mucho ir a la piscina, ella dice: mi lugar feliz!! sin embargo no la frecuentamos con regularidad, tanto por razones de tiempo como económicas.
Pero que tal cuando este lugar de disfrute se convierte en tragedia. Hace unos meses atrás un grupo de jóvenes estudiantes que terminaban de cursar la secundaria y decidieron ir de paseo a un club que tiene piscina, en la ciudad donde vivo actualmente, iban acompañados de algunos padres y representantes. Apenas entraron al sitio, los jóvenes se cambiaron rápidamente y decidieron entrar al agua, donde un joven tomó la iniciativa de hacer su primer chapuzon, resulta que por cosas del destino al chico le dio un paro respiratorio, solo tenía 16 años de edad y lo que parecía ser un viaje de disfrute y celebración se convirtió en una verdadera tragedia. El chico murió sin recibir nisiquiera los primeros auxilios. Fue una verdadera tragedia y mucho que lamentar!!. Era un joven, con toda una vida por delante...así que cuando salimos a un sitio de esparcimiento, antes de entrar al agua debemos ser precavidos, esperar, reposar, revisar bien la piscina, y más si hemos ingerido algún alimento. Y aunque la muerte a veces nos sorprenda y no la podemos evitar, es necesario tomar precauciones y más cuando andamos con niños y jóvenes, porque muchas veces ellos no miden el peligro al cual se exponen.

But what happens when this place of enjoyment turns into a tragedy. A few months ago, a group of young students who had just finished high school decided to go on a trip to a club that has a swimming pool in the city where I currently live, accompanied by some parents and representatives. As soon as they entered the place, the young people changed quickly and decided to enter the water, where a young man took the initiative to make his first dip, it turns out that by fate the boy had a respiratory arrest, he was only 16 years old and what seemed to be a trip of enjoyment and celebration turned into a real tragedy. The boy died without even receiving first aid. It was a real tragedy and much to be regretted. He was a young man, with his whole life ahead of him...so when we go out to a place of recreation, before entering the water we must be cautious, wait, rest, check the pool well, and even more if we have eaten some food. And although death sometimes surprises us and we cannot avoid it, it is necessary to take precautions, especially when we are with children and young people, because many times they do not measure the danger to which they are exposed.
