Greetings @topfamily community, today I join the #TBTThursday Contest, inviting @bylsel to participate.
The day we decided to adopt Hercules.

I came across a photo that's very dear to me and decided to reminisce about this beautiful moment here with you all; it's from the day we officially adopted what would be our fourth dog at the time. Let me tell you, Hercules had already been with us for about a year. We served as his temporary home while he recovered from myiasis on his paws and after the castration that a doctor performed free of charge. His rescuer didn't want to return him to the streets, so she posted about him frequently to find him a home.

We weren't applying to adopt because we already had three dogs and the situation in the country isn't easy. However, when someone had been found, my sister didn't want to (since she was the one taking care of him), and none of us really wanted to either. We were already attached to him. Personally, I couldn't really say we should keep him at first, since I was basically the one who brought the other three home and was already taking almost complete care of them. But in the end, we all decided he should stay in the family, and he was officially adopted. The best part is that the rescuer couldn't leave the other family without a dog. She found one that was spayed, only a year old, and looked so much like Hercules that everyone thought they were siblings.

The family loved the little dog, her doggy brother was adopted quickly and became the favorite, so it wasn't just one dog that found a home, it was two, and each one has been happy; I love Hercules, he's the gorgeous chubby one of the house, although he doesn't get along with one of the other dogs, each one gets the attention they deserve, especially since they're older and I've never been happier to give an older dog a chance, they're the ones who deserve to be chosen too.
