10 Little Dragons
It's funny how things are different than I expected after the second week of having delegated to four different communities.
@stonegale.gld which delegates to @amazingdrinks was top performer having got its first delegation after 5 days .. but now there hasn't been any delegation rewards after 15. Weird.
It's 8% return now gets dropped to 4%
@emberfang.gld which delegates to @diyhub received another reward exactly the same as the first one right on time. So it continues at 8% return.
@cinderclaw.gld which delegates to @actifit did finally receive its delegation reward. I guess they have a fixed day to distribute delegation rewards and they didn't send on the first day as I hadn't delegated long enough.

Their rewards were pretty paltry. I was able to purchase roughly 10 GLD tokens each week from the proceeds of diyhub. 10 GLD from the proceeds from amazingdrinks reward the one time they paid out. When I sold the HIVE and HBD that actifit sent? Only 2.015 GLD. That is pretty bad.
Still, they give AFIT tokens for those who use their platform. They give HIVE and they give HBD. If it all added up to 8% value I might recommend them. Right now they are solidly in last place.
Of the original dragons that leaves @ashflare.gld the supporter of the PAKX! token. @pakx was distributed every single day which was really nice.
Now calculating how valuable those tokens are? Kind of hard to do. It is still a thinly traded token with a wide spread but I could sell all of my reward tokens so its liquid enough for my needs. IF I sold those tokens I would likely get about 21.2 GLD (PeakD says the tokens are worth .212 HBD and GLD is pegged at 100:1)
Or if you prefer seeing swap.hive 0.9699 HIVE.
That would put it at top of the list as emberfang only has 20.415 GLD tokens
Take home message
At the moment things look lop sided because it is still early in the evaluation process. I'm guessing amazingdrinks is manually curated by a real world person who has a real world life..and things happen. Actifit may be a big name but has poor delegation returns. I already knew this which is why I picked it to show everyone--not every delegation is equal! diyhub has been solid so far with a food return. and PAKX has gone from a fair but lackluster first week to be #1 in the list for second week.
But PAKX requires a caveat. @dlmmqb knows that token well and has pointed out that it is fundamentally different than the others. He may be more bullish on the token saying that it is worth 2 HIVE per token in the future as things roll to their full potential. I won't speak to that because I'm just looking at the current flow of things.
I will say that the ability to call the PAKX curator by using the !PAKX command makes it an extra valuable token for someone who is a regular poster. A single upvote a week is worth as my as the delegation reward. The daily payout once it gets started is really nice. The return is similar to what I would expect. If it had a liquidity pool or a little stronger buy and sell wall it would tick off all the boxes. Even with the thin trading it still deserves a GOOD JOB

Dragons that didn't get a mention
@crystalwing.gld which delegates to @leo.voter did not get a mention this week. I'm setting up a dragon of its own to watch the @leo.voter delegation and its a lot more convoluted than I thought. But the returns are good. But with $LEO, $SURGE, $LSTR ... LEO staking, delegation, and more it deserves more than a one paragraph write-up to do it justice.
The curation dragons? No rewards from curation yet so they don't get mentioned this week.
And I want to give a special shout out to @tokenfaucet
A project I believe is run by @kenny-crane (no guarantees on that). 1000 PEPE tokens were sent by the faucet for free. So cool. Thank you.
If the faucet keeps running... I'll keep collecting the drip to add to the GLD token creation fund so I can give out bigger rewards. Well slightly bigger rewards. 1000 PEPE tokens aren't worth that much.

Hello sir.. how are you ? Sorry to bother you. I wanted to ask a question. The SPORTS and GAMER token I got recently , can I send them to my favorite dragon again, or I have to wait for till another time when you make a post consenting it?
In a clearer term, how often can I send the tokens I get rewarded to my favorite dragon?

The SPORTS tokens are the ones you send to your favorite dragon. Once I send them back you to you along with GLD tokens that means one week has done and another is started.
The GAMER tokens are used to signify you want to get the SPORTS tokens. You only need to send them once. They will also be the tokens I use to bridge between Web2 and Web3 in the future. But for now that is just a dream :)
Okay, thanks for the clarity, sir. Wish you the best in this journey. Dreams births reality, I believe anything we can dream is achievable. it's just a matter of time and you will get there eventually if you do not get discouraged and stop.

I don't sell them below 5 hive each. I am the biggest hodler and they do get sold for 5 hive. It just takes time but it definitely gets sold. Done it many times over and over again.
I have a bot that buys at 3 and sell at 5.
Since it only buys 1 pakx at a time and sells one at a time.
I have alot of dividends coming in plus it gets sold too.
So it has few stages
No matter what stage the account is in, I thought of it and makes more opportunity cost from it.
I can help u set up this bot. So u will be selling at best rates. If not, then getting dividends for holding.
It's apy is way higher, you just calculated it simply. Within 2 months I believe it's apy will grow even higher.
About lowering the spread, I can add more bots or anyone else can to lower the spread but then I/we want to make money from the larger spread 😁

I intend to track the investment over time. I'm just calculating simply because I want to keep things simple. I am thinking of making a bot to buy and sell with a much tighter spread....but it will only be a micro bot if I get around to it. So many other things to work on and so little time :)
Having said that I might look at $PANDA and $PANDAMINER first as those tokens have a lot of promise and last time I checked an even thinner BUY/SELL wall.
Why make one? We already have many. Use any one of those.
About the PANDA token, I will provide market makers there too. It will improve market alot.
