How many curation accounts are there?

Part of the Great Little Dragons reason for being is to check out different ways to get income on tokens. Locking Hive and delegating is one of the easiest ways to make extra tokens.
However, knowing who to delegate to is a real challenge. Currently this community has ten different accounts which delegate to ten different projects so we can reliably check out which project give the best return.
It should probably be expanded to twelve accounts because right now two notable mentions are not on the list.
@hiveabbyftp and @helios.voter
Then again this list is only for those curation accounts which pay out in HIVE so I guess @hiveabbyftp will have to wait for the list that pays out in lvl 2 / altcoin. Still leaving off @helios.voter is actually leaving off one of the best paying delegators on hive.
Looking at 10 different delegations

Notice anything?
From a low of 2.92% to a high of 8.55% there is a wide variety of returns between accounts. Also notice that distrubition frequency varies lot also. Some area weekly. Some are daily. Some like OCDB have more than one distribution every day!
Also interesting is that payments can vary over time. The chart below has payouts ranked from inception but also based only on the last payment.
| Rank | Account | APR | Delegatee | Source | Delegation | Payments | Total Received |

One payment can change viewpoints
Look at amazing drinks. It made an outsized payment last time which works out to 20% but when looked over the months 8.55%. That's still the best of the group but if you only look at one payout it makes a difference.
Others like scifimultiverse look bad from being at the bottom of the heap on the multi month list but the current 5.63% actually looks pretty reasonable.
Samething with actifit. the 3.51% historic looks pretty anaemic but the recent 5.44% isn't stellar but still much improved.
The outlier
The account @helios.gld was supposed to track delegations to the @helios.voter but it got sidetracked by making posts about the HELIOS token and how useful it can be as a curation source.
So, for now I'll look at @tergan account delegation to @helios.voter
- Total delegation 3410HP
- Last 4 distributions : 9.516 + 8.518 + 9.057 + 8.616 = 35.709
- Average distribution : 8.927 HP / week
What is the percent return?
(8.927HP/week * 52 weeks)/3410 HP * 100% = 13.6%
Support the community or your wallet?
There remains the tough question:
Support the community?
Support your wallet?
If you happen to be supporting the @amazingdrinks community then you are in luck you get a very good return and support a cool community.
However if you are an Actifit user like I am? Supporting the Actifit community getting 3.5-5.4% instead of taking the HELIOS payout of 13.6% is a tough call.
In the end? Totally up to the Hive user to decide which is more important.
And a side note.
Just for fun there is something else to look at. Did you notice that the HP delegated by each account is a weird number?
306.296 for stonegale.gld
101.876 for ocdb.gld
Here is something that people miss. Hive quietly gives interest on every staked HP. Those accounts started out at 300HP and 100HP respectively. While they were making money from their curation effort they were also earning 3% return just by sitting on HIVE.
That 13.6% return from funds delegated to @helios.voter is actually 16.6% if you count the HP saving interest.
Anyways that's my thought for now about keeping an eye on delegation returns. You get an idea of the return from looking at the last distribution but get a better view of things from looking at the long term distribution.
Do you happen to know any other communities that should be added to the list? Ones that pay out in HIVE? I would love to hear about them so I can make a more comprehensive list for the community.
Also many delegations pay out in tribe tokens like @leo.voter, @hiveabbyftp, @indiaunited, @pakx and more. I'll look at those next time but for this time I wanted to focus on getting HIVE from delegating staked Hive (HP).
Final note: @hivepakistan got missed in this round as I screwed up. I originally thought it paid tribe tokens but I was incorrect. Sorry. It pays regularly in HIVE Check the comments to see it did really well in the standings :)

Thanks for taking a peek.

STOPThere are a lot of communities that use @hivediscomod for curation although his last posts are downvoted because of automated posts , you can still see a list of communities using it i think.
Also many delegations pay out in tribe tokens like @leo.voter, @hiveabbyftp, @indiaunited, @hivepakistan and moreA little correction. It's the @pakx that pays in tokens while @hivepakistan pays in HIVE
Pakx is made to support hivepakistan (while pakx may have more returns, control and more HP remains in @hivepakistan to support good manual curators. As it grows, we can implement more measures to stop curator abuse if any)
I stand corrected :)
@hivepakistan would be one of the top curation results. Thanks for letting me know. @pakx will gets its moment next post :)
Also many delegations pay out in tribe tokens like @leo.voter, @hiveabbyftp, @indiaunited, @hivepakistan and more. Here what u wrote in bottom makes it sound like hivepakistan gives tokens while it's just hive. Please reread bottom line in your post. instead of hivepakistan, pakx suites that definition and in that particular line.
PLEASE REREAD & RETHINK
I rarely edit posts but I edited this one. I made it clear that hivepakistan pays out in HIVE and that PAKX pays out in tribe tokens.
No offense was meant. Sorry
Since I can understand the efforts in your post! I rarely give discoveryit, but here u go........
!discovery
also, an invitation to read my recent data driven and coding post cause u can see some outputs or either give me new coding challenges and may just reuse my codes to improve your own calculations about hive.
not really sure what discoveryit is all about, but thank you.
All the information cleaned for these numbers was from the actual HIVE received from each of the named accounts.
discoveryit is a manual curation project and selected curators can nominate your post for their votes. Then out of it, some gets nominated for even higher curator votes.
think of it as PAKX command, then hivepakistan is higher curator (as pakx don't keep HP) while pakx is semi-automated by decentralized curators and hivepakistan is further consideration (rarely happens though but concept is a bit similar).
A Key different is only selected individuals can use this command for discovery and then very few can recommend for whale votes (or may have direct access to whale vote)
Like I can nominate x number of posts per week to whales as well using discord commands but it's a very strict process.
Cool :)
But I do have an idea of being careful what you nominate for upvotes..
Thank you
hope i didn't over compilated it :)
Well,
When you send me a line with ALL CAPS
telling me to rethink what I wrote I get nervous.
End of the day.... I'm still trying to get everything going smoothly... and something always seems to slip though 😁🤣
