Project Zomboid is a game of stories. Every survivor has their own story, even if that story exists only in the mind of a single player. But even absent the details of the character's stories, their ultimate demise condensed into an image tells another story, a meta-story of the player's progress.

I usually play random jobs on the idea that I am just some random unprepared for the apocalypse. Carpenter or repairman is probably my preference though, I like to build up a base.
