I have always loved musical concerts right from my younger days and church I remember several times me being the spotlight to sing step many to also worship at concert.

My kind of concerts have always been the calm gentle one's not a loud one so it's mostly classical music and worship and church-related concerts that I have attended.

Last concert was earlier this year at my Alma mater. It was organised by a group of classical musicians called the sinfonia. They made classical music sound beautiful and it could be done in any language Yoruba, English, Spanish and all.

I was a part of the group while in school it was for medical students and it was one of the ways we cooled off after the day's work.

The earnings from the events where mostly given to charity and used to pay hospital fees of children whose parents cannot afford.

For this reason alone I was more involved in the group however I had too many other engagements and school so I couldn't attend much rehearsals often but whenever it was time for the concert I gave my best.

Having graduated and now the doctor whenever these events has been organised you find me there as long as I'm close by.

I hear songs I had a few times rehearsed with them and I also when you want to have fun.

Sometimes just sitting there and listening to classical music was enough relaxation for the nerves.

One very memorable day I had an exam the next day and so I attended the sinfonia music concert the previous I'm getting there it happened that I was sitting with one of the professors who will be at my exam next day. I wasn't afraid because I knew I was ready for the exam however it was more like an encouragement for me that I was going to pass my exams. He looked at me and smiled and I also smiled greeting him and together we enjoy the music. In my mind I was saying I hope it's music as well tomorrow.🙏.

The exams came and went and well you know I passed well. not because I met him maybe cuz I was prepared emotionally probably because classical music also help me.

The last I attended was just as beautiful as always. This time as a doctor many professors we are around and I was glad to be one of the professionals as well.

That evening seeing younger ones become confident at what they love doing music even as Drs they ll become.

In the video is an except I could catch on my phone on a song that got everyone laughing. I hope it makes you laugh too.

Do enjoy it.

Music really does something to the soul.

Just like the way it helped you prepare emotionally.
For me, music is like ginger that spices up the energy I need for something, or the day.

Yeah.. it sure does. It is a tool and a messenger.

Exactly!

HA-HA-HA-HA-HAAAAAAAAAAAA

This was a funny one, for laughing indeed!

I like the fact that medical students have (or had, like you) the opportunity to study music, alongside medical studies. Excellent idea and project, so everyone can calm down with music after a hard day 😎

Definitely.. it was always something to look out for.

I ve had to edit some typos in the post. I had it in the draft for too long. Glad I had to push I out eventually.

I m also glad it made you too to laugh. Hahaha

I m also glad it made you too to laugh. Hahaha
