What profession do you consider as the best ?, Have you ever thought of how it feels to get paid for having fun and enjoying yourself ?, how it feels to get paid to do something you love, something you wouldn't mind doing for free, something you could even pay someone so they would give you a chance to do, It would be awesome, won't it ?.
Yes, This is the case of musicians, the people I think have the best jobs and career in the world. They get paid to enjoy themselves, to have fun. I always tell my friends, "musicians don't work, they just enjoy themselves"

Just take a look at these musician, you can see the joy on their faces, does this look like people working ?

Who actually are musicians ??
Musicians are performers of music. They're instrumentalists, composers, music conductors etc.

There are different types of music and instruments and as such there are different types musicians, for this reason, music is so vast and there are so many career opportunities for people who wish to become musicians

WHY MUSICIANS HAVE THE BEST JOB IN THE WORLD

Musicians enjoy themselves even as they bring enjoyment and pleasure to their listeners;
One very amazing thing about musicians and the music job/career is that they/it bring(s) joy to other people too and not just themselves playing the music, you know how you feel when you listen to those songs you love, they make you feel better, don't they ?, sometimes you just can't help but nod to the beats of those musics, Check out the this picture below, you can see how happy and excited these people are.

Musicians are fulfilled people;
It's so fulfilling to see that other people are happy because of you, because of what you do. Musicians are most times fulfilled people because they put smiles on people's faces, this brings some sort of fulfillment to them. musicians are therapist, they're inspirers , they are messangers, they're comforters.

Musicians have no age constraints;
Musicians can begin at any age, we can find children musicians and even musicians in their 80s, they have no retirement age and as such musicians are free to do their business of having-fun-and-getting-paid till they're tired. Isn't that also wonderful ?.

Music accommodates plenty ;
A musical band or choir may comprise of hundreds of musicians performing at the same time, there is also no limit as to the number of instruments or vocalist that can be used for a musical performance.

Music is loved by all;
Music is also one thing that is loved by all, it's almost impossible to find someone that doesn't like music, even babies and the very old people vibe to music.

Music brings fame:
Another amazing thing about the musicians and the music career is popularity.

Musicians are always popular to some extent. Some are popular in their neighborhood, some are popular in the state, some are popular in the country, some are even popular all over the world, They're celebrities. Music career is a celebrity career, How many celebrity doctors, nurses or Engineers do you know?, but celebrity musicians are countless, they're so many all over the world.
Music have one of the highest number of celebrities, Michael Jackson who was a musician was one of the most popular entity in his time. Music career is just amazing. Because of how popular musicians get, they get endorsement deals from big brands and companies to be ambassadors just to promote the companies and brands.

Musicians also have influence;
Due to the fact that everyone loves music and we listen to them alot, musicians have become very influential people, they control majority of the youths and teenagers of the world, they are influencers. some of these musicians have millions of followers on social media, they set trends, they influence world fashion, hair styles etc.
It is known that some musicians like 2pac , Michael Jackson, Beyonce etc have had great influence on the world youths and teenagers.

Music is viable and promises riches ;

Musicians are often times rich people. Music is such a profitable and viable enterprise because everyone listens to it, music making is not a seasonal enterprise and can be done anywhere and at every occasion, this makes musicians always sought after. Every good and diligent musician has the potential of being rich. There are a lot of Rich musicians all over the world, you can also find billionaire musicians like Jay-z, Rihanna, kanye-west etc.

Here are a few areas open to people who would want to be musicians ;

• Vocalist
• Composer
• Drummer
• Keyboardist
• Guitarist
• Violinist
• Saxophonist
• Bell-ringer
• Music director
• Disc-jockey (DJ)
  And thousands of others

Although there are quite a lot of professions and professionals, and although every other professionals are important and amazing, Musicians to me still remains the people with the best profession in the world.
In my opinion, A profession with such overwhelming advantages and imparts can't be compared to none.

My username is @luckydrums and yes!,I play drums. I am an aspiring and budding musician and I can tell you that Musicians indeed have the best jobs.

This profession is not one to be taken unseriously like is seen in many homes nowadays where parents dissuade their children from pursuing their music dreams.

I encourage everyone who have passion, interest or talent for music to please pursue it, if not as a full time job or for the money, atleast for the fact that you get fulfillment, you enjoy yourself and put smiles on the faces of the people that get to hear your music.
It's really a win-win for all Musicians.

Yes, I agree with you that if we have a passion for something, we should pursue it. Dedicate our time to it, and it is really not just for fame or money.

But, other professions can provide the same passion and love, I do know people from completely different sectors and they love what they do :)) And sometimes musicians are not that happy... We are, but imagine someone touring through the whole year, several concerts every week, in different places of the world. It can be really exhausting and lead to kind of depression even.

Ok, ok, I am now just trying to bring the other side of the coin, but what I do agree is that we are paid for something we have fun while doing - making music and being happy for that :)

There was actually quite a time I really dream of becoming a Musician but we'll, the voice is not there 😔 so I gave up on the dream but I will say I always admire Musicians out there
