I have some mixed feelings right now toward this twenty-four hours time unit that combines in its name the words Sun and day. It always announces the relentless flow of time and the arrival of Monday and with it a new week full of work after the rest. But what I am talking about, did I forget that Sunday now also represents a not so free day? I am getting old and forgetting; it was just a few hours earlier today - I was heading to my Sunday work.
You know that place already, don't you? The place where we can see the orange and green heads giving home to some greenery. Well, if you dont remember them, here they come, although they were introduced a bit more than a month ago to hive. Today they seem a bit tired... or are they still sleeping here? It is morning when I visit them, must be that they just need to be awakened with some piano music.
Now, before we decide whether this post could be a Sunday rant (and convert it into a Sad Sunday post) or the traditional Sunday guessing game, let's lake a short excursion to piano stuff and music. Those who accidentally read my posts will know, while I go to that place to play, I listen to the radio while I drive. Usually, classical radio if something is interesting on (but every time I say to myself: Get some music to the Pendrive and take with you when you have to drive!) So this morning, according to the choice of the announcer, again Bach was coming to me. Goldberg Variations.
However, not in the instrumental version that we all know very well! Imagine this: in a vocal arrangement!?! It was somehow weird, to listen to that instrumental music interpreted by a choir (or a vocal group). I like when vocal groups sing or just vocalise, but this was not something I really liked. I think the brightness of the theme and the fast pace of the first variation made the whole experience "unclear", blurred. I need to hear this piece sharp and clean. I was not really impressed, so my reminder to have prepared some music in advance in these situations got stronger. Anyway, I had to correct that music experience from this morning and find the legendary Glenn Gould playing Goldberg Variations.
Now, let me know can you imagine this piece being interpreted by any other instrument or a vocal group?
This is Aria, the theme. At first glance, a simple, calming melody but fully ornamented. For me, the moderate use of pedal, how just Glenn could do it, gives additional beauty, although we know in the time it was composed, sustain pedal and even modern piano (how we know it today) didn't exist. It was written for a keyboard instrument, yes, but it was usually a harpsichord that could allow the speed needed for some of the variations.
The first variation where I needed to hear exactly this sound, but was not given by the vocal arrangement is the next travk. An absolute expression of a hyped state. I have literally carved this sound in my head. I mean, forever and beyond. Hm, have I ever told you how much I actually like Glenn Gould and how he played, and all his singular attitudes? Ok, you don't have to answer this question, as the answer is positive. I did it here.
Luckily, I changed the radio station after this variation and I was not listening anymore actively to anything. The morning was ruined {lol}. And I say luckily that I changed, as, how could this fifth variation sound? This IS a super hyped state, do you hear it the same way? Perhaps too much speed for a Sunday chilling day, but you opened my post, I am sorry :D

Well, seems that the Sunday rant was not successful and piano, Bach and Glenn Gould took the lead. In case someone wants to listen to the whole piece, there are 30 variations, and could be listened to by clicking to this link. This is his interpretation from 1955. In 1981 he recorded another performance, but I brought today here just those recorded when he was young.
However, I would not like to break the Sunday guessing tradition, that was broken already. I forgot to set the Guessing Game last week... and the week before too. To justify me, I said I am getting old, didn't I? {no, no answer is needed here either}.
The real answer that I will need is connected again to my habit of taking a smoothie while I have a little break. We had some previous weeks with different ones. In the first edition @leaky20 was the winner, nailing it and giving me the right answer. It was a combination of spinach, apple, pineapple and celery. Also, @littlebee4 was very close. The next one was won by @tdctunes, guessing the ingredients that made the fruit shake of strawberry, apple and passion fruit. Last week @ewkaw wanted to play and guess the drink I had, but I forgot to set the game!!! Now, new chances are here to participate in this new edition.
The question is NOT what flower is on that bowl. But, if the smoothie thing becomes too hard...?
No, it is not that hard! I am sure the answer will come easily if anyone would like to participate, of course. So, to win the small HBD reward, I will need to hear the three ingredients (apart from ice, as it contains crushed ice) that are in that glass.
Here it comes. Take a look, and let me know what do you think I had this morning.
LOLOLOL I can not not laugh when I read a post of yours. Stop being funny! Please??? LOLOLOL
Bach: I can imagine the Bach pieces are superb when playing with an Oboe. I also know who has to play. We shall group together sooner than planned, where we need your oboe sounds to get us relieved from being the universe. A few moments of rest doesn't harm us, so I shall try and arrange such a session soon-ish.
Guessing thingy: Something I would be a little scared to drink LOLOLOL by the way: you have some nice job on Sunday mornings! playing keyboards and drinking the cocktail bar empty! Question to you: Did you like it? ... ok ok ok I try a serious guess: white fluid with some bits that don't dissolve easily added with some coloured fruit. I can't be far from reality!
Hahaha, well, if you ask, I will try to be more serious.
Ok.
Now a serious answer!

{how to do it?}
Bach and Oboe. You are right! Oboe is a baroque instrument, was very popular and would sound well, no doubts. So suitable for linear Bach music. But, how do you mean, your oboe sounds? Wasn't it mioboe playing it? And how do you mean, you shall try to arrange such a session. Are you the head of that group of mysterious people? Do you have funds for that? You know, I already am booked for that nuthouse, playing Sunday mornings, but will try to talk to mioboe, haven't heard of her for a long time.
Drink. Why you would be scared of that? :) I see what the girl that prepares it put inside to the blender so no worries :))) yeah, you can't be far away from the reality with your guess 😂
I should introduce a category of the funniest guess or something. Ewkaw was giving a whole recipe even haha and you mix here reality and the other side of the reality 🤣
The question do I like was rhetorical, I suppose? :)
Bach and Oboe: who is a leader or not, who we are and what we do is and stays a mystery 😜 I'll let you know when we progress so you can get MiOboe arranged for us again.
Drink: just from the looks of it, I wouldn't drink it... but but but... that statement was more an attempt to be funny 😱
Quiz: looking fwd to the funniest addition... I'll try and win when it happens.
Oh, sorry, forgot how secret is that thing so you shouldn't say anything else, apart from one whole post you have written. And escaped jail. Effectiveness it is!
I know 😅
Now I have to go fishing ideas and bring creativity for that next Sunday's guessing game!
gogogogogogo 🎣 😆
🤣
🙇♀ for a fishing rod ... or a harpoon: D
😱 fishing rod... I try to remain civil
I was actually wondering today if you remembered :D Yayyy!
Is that a hint? Peas and lemon? :p
Ok these are my official 3 ingredients:
A teaspoon of fish eggs
a cup of dragon tears whipped until creamy (I heard they change texture when whipping... must be true)
And a sprinkle of sea breeze for the flavor.
And it is a tulip! :D
I should have said that it is a hint so to bring a bit of confusion 🤣
Hahaahah, this is a whole recipe!! Love it and I should let the hotel peeps know these secret ingredients to prepare me the next time exactly this drink. But the cat would have to do it, and I am not sure if they are allowed to enter there...
Good try for the plan B if nobody guesses the fruit drink thing 😁
Gotta always have a plan B :)
That is good, having a plan B.
Although this time the thing that was in the glass was guessed, so the tulip stayed just for decoration
But I found one in the emoji selection too, so it's coming your way 🌷 :))
Aww thank you!
I just went to see the correct answer... no fish eggs? Really?
:p
How strange, right? they forgot to include that ingredient :D
Yay another guessing game!
My guess is banana, dragon fruit and... grape juice lol
Oh, you are a very good hive chef! :))
So, one correct ingredient.
One almost correct as very similar to that guessed one (I can not say which one hahha) but has more crunchy seeds (it is what you see, the black small dots, minced seeds of that ingredient).
One wrong.
Edit: littlebee4 guessed, so the answer was banana, passion fruit and honey :)
Okay.
That's a good guess. I don't think I would have gotten it. My mind went to kiwi for the seeds as I was reading your reply. Honey would have taken me a while as well I think.
Sounds like a good smoothie though 😋
yea, the seeds... the yellow dragon fruit indeed have it and kiwi, but that would give a bit more green colour to the drink.
Seems that in this place they like passion fruit, as it already appeared in one another smoothie.
Yes, it was tasty, but there was a lot of ice too, so a bit cold for my throat.
Hi @mipiano 😊
Thanks for inviting me to your guessing game again. Of course I try to guess… even though we had such a busy day today… 🤫
Banana, melon and apple 😎
You are welcome, and ow, do I miss the date, was it already or...?
ok, I said nothing :D
One correct :)
12 more days 😇 I’m organising it all so a bit busy hahahaha
Hhhmmm 🤔 banana coconut and honey
Ooooooow, two correct ones,
It is getting close. Who can read and connect all the dots, will have the answer soon hahha
Banana coconut and passion fruit 😊
two again
Banana passion fruit and honey?
😇
😅😅😅 I just love your sense of humour.
I am so late to the party but Oh well 😟😟
I see that you like apple and passion fruit, it seems to be a constant in at least 2 of your smoothie guessing games... 😊😊😊
It's never late to come to the party here :) but yes, for the guessing game in this post it is late 😂
Oh Mi 😅😅😅😅😅
😅
I hope next weekend to repeat and then, be quick :D
I enjoyed the first variation, seemed calmer, also I don't know when last I tuned into the radio, a bit tiring to me.
I think the glass has coconut or pineapple, milk, and maybe alcohol or banana 😆
Radio, my only companion when I go somewhere so I listen to it almost every day.
Hmm, you guessed one ingredient.
I understand, most times I just use Spotify to keep myself company.
Hmm, just one ingredient, is water an ingredient 😆, maybe chia seeds or chocolate 😆 I am just guessing at this point.
This is exactly why this is called a guessing game 😆
but no correct guess in this round.
For sure that it is haha, ice in the crushed form... but let us concentrate on those visible ingredients :))
😆 this is hard
There is either lemon or lime in there for sure.
Heheh, no, no lime or lemon.
It was banana, passion fruit and honey, but the answer was already given a few hours ago by littlebee4 :))
I would have never gotten it 😆
Well, if next Sunday I will do this game with another smoothie, you can try again :)
Thank you for participating 🤗
I liked the first track better. How awesome that you can find music like this on the radio 😃.
I'm actually giving up on guessing 😂 but I'll go out on a limb: I think it's banana, coconut, maybe cinnamon. 🤔😪
How? Well, it depends what they serve me 😂
It's the National Spanish classical radio, so mainly good music is coming from there. Mainly, until I heard the Golberg Variations in that arrangement :D
The guessing game finished for today, littlebee4 was fast and guessed that it was banana, passion fruit and honey :)
But thank you for your participation, it is always welcome 😇
Uggghh!! I meant to guess but then I slept off and missed my shot. Anyhoo, I would have guessed bananas, coconut and honey so it’s fine😆
You slept off? Oh, you see, these guessing games go fast, some experienced players here around 😆
Well, you would have two correct answers, so it would not be bad for the first guess :)
Next Sunday, if I repeat the game with another fruit juice, don't sleep :D
Deff!! I’m on high alert for next Sunday now. It all happened so fast this time😕
Hahah, all good
I would have to make more difficult questions, os the game would last for days 😁
Bring it on💪🏽💪🏽
will see, will see how it will be :)

Can I try?
To guess 😂
hey hey Ludmila
You can try, but the guessing game already finished, we had a winner already :))
It was littlebee4 who guessed correctly.
Next Sunday, hopefully again a game will be here!
Thanks! :-)
🎶 good morning kitty :)
cheers kitty 🥂
