Tune Tune Train Riddle [Week 7] - "Songs In The Key Of Eerie"

The Tune Tune Train keeps rolling:

The Tune Tune Train is a challenge I came up with based on the Three Tunes Tuesday format. It´s a TTT with a riddle!

How doe it work?

I will give you three great songs and you can win a $1 Ecency boost if you tell me what connects the songs.
A connection can be: they are all about flowers, they have the same drummer, they all sing about Pink Mushrooms, or they are all kids from famous parents. Just to give an idea of what a connection might be.

It´s up to you Dear Reader to figure out what connects the Tune Tune Train. The first one that drops the solution in the comments gets a $1 boost on their next post!
Or you can just wait till I solve the riddle in next week's post.

And these were last week's songs:

Cat Power - Breathless
Chelsea Wolfe - I let love in
Fever Ray - Stranger than Kindness

Last Weeks Clues Were

So the connection hint was: Another word for neanderthal

And there were more hints: In the Nick of Time

Neanderthal = Cave Man and Nick of Time or should I say Cave & Nick? A combo already visible in one of the videos:

And even that wasn´t all, I wrote that Chelsea Wolfe covered the Dark Master and the title of the article was "His Masters Voice." You see how easy it was if you have all the answers😉 Oh and the fact that I recently did go overboard on Nick Cave in my Midnight Gems sessions might have also given my soft spot for this guy away.

We Have NO Winner so Here we go again!

All Aboard!

The Tune Tune Train is Taking Off!
Are You Ready To Riddle?

As nobody even came close to The Cave Man, I feel it like my duty to further educate you in the ways of Cave, and let me use an easy one. A song most of you must have heard if you watched the Fooking Peaky Blinders.

Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds - Red Right Hand

I bet you all forgot about this next lady, but she was g.d. big back in the day. She would sing about peeling labels off and a beer buzz in the morning. Still, I think this was the best song she ever did and it got so overlooked

Sheryl Crow - "On The Outside" - featuring Todd Wolfe

That was sweet and sick wasn´t it, another hero from those same forgotten days was Michael Stipe, now there are a couple of Shiney Happy reasons why I do agree that some songs need to stay buried, but I would be losing my religion if I did not feed you this collab.

William S. Burroughs & R.E.M. - Star Me Kitten

Now if tonight's selection did not give you a creepy eerie feeling, listen again because you were not paying attention.

This week's hint: Scratch your Scully and be witty as a Fox
“I've often felt that dreams are answers to questions we haven't yet figured out how to ask.”

Let me know in the comments if you figure out what connects these three songs.
First to get it right, gets a nice Ecency Boost!

The connection and winner will be featured in next week's #TTT

But it was difficult to solve, at least I would never solve it.

Ok, let's see the new one.
Damn, I have no clue about this one either 🤦‍♀😂

This week´s one is more difficult, although the hint is a giveaway🤐

Songs really different from style...but still lovely!

very true and still there is a connection isn't that wonderfully weird 😇

weird is always wonderful!

I remember when Automatic for the People came out. I am pretty sure I owned a copy of it on CD. Everybody hurts got all the attention on that album, but there were honestly so many good songs. Including Star me Kitten. Sheryl Crow was just on the Grammy's singing with Bonnie Raitt. They sounded quite good together.

I love both of them, could not find the full collab but i di find a 30 second clip. But Automatic For The People is one of the best albums ever. I played that every night for weeks when falling asleep, there was not a bad song on that album but sidewinders sleep and night swimming were my favs

Yeah, Night Swimming is probably one of my most favorites too.

Oh and thanks for reminding me I have the whole album playing atm https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLMxy067kbpQhMCl9vPP66p-LwjSqtZCKy

Nick Cave and REM. Boom boom boomio 💥 💥 💥

Nice one man, really enjoyed the trio, and I will admit I don't know Sheryl Crow's music that well, but enjoyed that one you shared 👍

This was a nice set indeed and the Sheryl song is her absolute best if you ask me.

I think I figured out your riddle for this week, were all three songs used in episodes of the X files with Fox Molder and Dana Scully?

You were so close, but no. The right answer was provided as a comment to my Friday show if you can´t wait till I reveal it tomorrow https://peakd.com/hive-192806/@nanixxx/re-whywhy-rq9qid

Oh well not to worry, I was sure that was it 😃

Yay! 🤗
