A few days ago I mentioned coconuts we found by chance in the supermarket in this post https://peakd.com/hive-183952/@bearmol/thai-coconut-or-home-bbq-or-jamaicans-legendary-ladies
We are now sampling said coconut. Apparently we have to go back to pick up a few more "samples".
This is what happens when you are from a country with lots of coconuts and you move to somewhere that produces none. I recall the days of my youth when I wanted a coconut I could just pick from one of the many trees planted within the perimeter of our yard.
These days my thirst for a real coconut is relegated to random chance encounters in supermarkets at different times of the year.
Recently I've been trying to increase my fluid intake. There often hear islanders touting the health benefits of coconut water so the more the better for me.
Stay connected, stay healthy.
I think it's a fresh Coconut. They are not like the coconut we eat here. The color of the inner shell is different from our Coconuts here.
I really like the taste of coconut.
