You have to beat the votes, it seems.

That means you have to downvote your own post first, then if that's not enough, ask others to downvote your post (which might reduce your reputation unless the downvoters have a lower reputation than you).

That's a difficult requirement.

Yeah, not sure if it's the same on Hive.Blog or not.

Yup it's the same. Please just don't introduce an edit feature.

Why not?

It helps to ensure that the Buzz's you're reading haven't been altered and are stored in time. We kind of have this benefit with Hive as we can check for revisions on chain but knowing the functionality is limited from d.buzz site ensures the original with no need to research.

Edits made on Hive.Blog reflect on #DBuzz already.

So there is currently a way to edit Buzz's, it's just not user friendly.

Ahh I thought there was a separate database you were using for dbuzz outside of the chain. I guess it still acts similarly to Twitter in that the original content is still somewhere on chain if someone did try to change a statement.

But if you don't use the D.Buzz platform to post and edit posts on the D.Buzz community, then it would still be user-friendly.

We're looking for your feedback about why you think there shouldn't be an edit feature @patrickulrich 👍
