I don't agree with purposely taking out someone's eye if they take our yours, or with taking revenge, but I tend to think that life has a way of evening things out, and that the idea of #Karma / #CauseAndEffect is more or less true.

I don't believe in revenge as well, but I also believe in not forgiving someone who's the tendency to harm others w/out any reason. That's not revenge, that is to save others from his/her future acts, at least, give him/her a lesson to remember and think before act in violence.

I believe in forgiveness, no matter what, but that doesn't mean that perpetrators should not be dealt with. The reason why I believe in forgiveness is that I know what hatred, anger and resentment can do to a person's mind, AND life! Wishing all beings to be free from suffering👍

I understand what you are saying and firmly believe in balance, balance must be maintained.

What I believe in karma is that it may not "come back" within a person's lifetime. I believe it extends to the afterlife.

Agreed, because you have used, "it may not "come back"".
