Just finished reading the Decrypt Media story on the Justin Sun takeover of Steem. Thought the story was well done and a good overview of what went down. Not a complete blow by blow. But a good read.

Very surprised the author touched on the dishonesty of Ned and Dan. Steem was doomed from the beginning. The community should have revolted way before Justin. Justin was the straw that broke the camel's back.
@lexikon082 Same here with Ned and Dan. That was slimy as all get out for sure. Knowing that, I'm of the same opinion as you. It didn't matter if it was Justin Sun or someone else, those per-mined tokens were going to come back and haunt steem and the community.
