I've heard from other folks in the UK that pollen has turned them into a "red-eyed monster" and makes this time of year a bit more challenging. In our area we go through big pollen/allergy season during late February - late May. Which I think means we go through it a bit earlier in our corner of the world.

There was a guy at parkrun today who was sneezing a lot. Some years it's not too bad for me, but I had itchy eyes yesterday.
When we lived in Houston, the types of allergies were very different than the types of allergies we get now. I have to wonder if allergies are only a modern issue and not something our ancestors had to deal with.
