Idea: Replace 13 weeks Power Down time for 100 days with 1% being paid every 24 hours. It would make it quicker for users in need of smaller amounts and the total Power Down time actually increases by 9 days.

Interesting idea. Actually i support the shorter power down like 4 weeks :) Lets say if the price is high for hive doesnt matter which power down option we have many people will miss the opportunity, mostly just the whales benefit from it.

yeah but mostly the large accounts and the "oligarchs" has a liquid hive if we wanna be honest. Most of the people trying to power up so they can also give and get higher rewards.

yeah because the big stake holders want them to buy and stake it so they can cash out. Like a MLM system :( or lets call it pyramid sheme.

It was not advice, just an opinion. Btw the shortern power down will allow the people to cash in and out as they like. Even on steem i was pro short power down tbh. Even it gives also a good condition for spammers. But i think sooner or later there will be a solution.
