The part you mentioned about roles is similar to (or is) the concept of Persona in Jungian Psychology and it's probably my top favorite Pseudo-science concept.

I think it's hard to combine my roles. While I don't lie, I keep certain parts of myself blocked from a place to another... I don't like doing that but it feels like I'm forced to most of the time, it'll be too much problems otherwise.
