I cannot say in particular, but as far as news and documentaries shown online. If content go against CCP policy, within minutes or couple of hours you cannot access it.

#UnstoppableDomains doesn't use the standard DNS though, it uses #ENS.
I will have to ask @nathansenn if it would make it more widely available in #China but I am guessing it won't.
