I could not explain why it happens. However, rewards are constantly in flux. It helps sometimes to have @dustbunny visit from time to time. I think, also, there is a minimum reward you need to get, or else you get nothing. Dust bunny votes to put you above the minimum.
The good news is that as your account grows, it gets better.
Anything between 0.015-0.019 rounded up to $0.02 doesn't get a payout. It's effectively burned so it really doesn't ever exist for anybody. If it's more than $0.02 you may have accidentally selected a different option for payout. For example, in the actifit app there is a box that can be checked to receive payout in AFIT tokens.

If people upvote your posts, earnings will be added to the post.
But it takes 7 days before the earnings of that post is paid out, and in that time, people can downvote to remove the earnings.
