Have you tried to switch to Google's DNS. Their DNS is kinda good.
That did the trick. But weird was Google and Youtube were working, but nothing else.

Did they explain the reason? Power outage? Maintenance? ...etc.

No but I won't expected maintenance or power outage. It was clearly something in their Domain Name Service. I could reach any Google page, but nothing else. After I switched to 8.8.8.8 (Google's DNS) it worked again.
I suspect rather technical break down or attack.
This happened years ago with my ISP in Libya. It only stayed like that for an hour or two at a time but it's annoying we couldn't predict it. Luckily it doesn't happen now.
