I'm in favor of Basic Income as long as it's done with care... When everyone is expected to have X amount of cash, prices tend to move up to accommodate that. Which makes life much harder for people who for one reason or another can't take part in the Basic Income program.

I know a friend who lived in Libya but his Passport/ID is Palestinian. He had his reasons to not get a Libyan Passport/ID, but 'cause of it doing anything "official" including getting a room in college, Dorms was difficult for him.
What is the strongest argument?

As an idea it is great. You are right also I think price will adapt or let's say everything will cost you your complete basic income.
