There IS a difference:
#HIVE is an opt-in form of Governance, so we must remain competitive if we want to exist.
The US Government is not opt-in for natural born citizens, it remains in existence through force, &sometimes that includes violence #Monopoly

Right, but the government now is funded through force. What if there was no income tax? How would it look if the government only operated off of the money it printed? The citizens would feel the tax through the inflation, but not otherwise.

The Matrix-8 Solution is voluntary (you don't have to join) and is (will be) funded by donations (time, money and in other forms). Donations would very likely be rewarded with KLU tokens. The Matrix-8 governance system would be used to determine the quantity airdropped.
