Bahay Kubo or also known as Nipa Hut is made from plant materials like bamboo. This Nipa hut was made by my elder brother and he is selling Nipa huts too. Nipa huts were the native houses of the indigenous people of the Philippines before. They were designed to endure the climate and environment of the Philippines. They are still used today.
