Yeah it's been that way for me in the past but today I couldn't get anything other than the maintenance screen. It finally cleared and I was able to redeem my season rewards too.

The maintenance screen sometimes pops up on mine whenever I accidentally refresh the page twice. That minor issue probably occurs more often on Internet connections with intermittent problems.
