The problem with these is transaction fees on BTC are so high now that unless you are doing thousands of dollars a purchase it's just not worth it. I was a bitcoin maximalist for a long time. I still think it's great as a secure, settlement layer, but for transactions under $1000 it's not worth it anymore. Lightning is stupid, saying this as someone who ran a lightning node.
Good, edgy marketing they got going though.
