The threads we integrate into our character are not all the same size. Some will be larger and woven to strengthen while others will be small and thin. It's the difference between experiences shaping who we are and painful memories that will occasionally surface, but don't direct our lives.

An excellent reminder we may be asking "Why is this happening to me" in the short-term, and later we can see without a challenge or difficulty we would've been far less equipped to handle the challenge we couldn't see far off into the future.
