As for !STRIDE, I am indeed trying out something new with upvotes with that one, if you qualify with your posts. And you qualify quite often I have already noticed! ππππ
I think it's !INDEED a good idea for Hive token tipping bots to use their Voting Power for meaningful posts (especially those that are relevant to the bot like STRIDE for #Actifit posts) as a win-win method for both tipping bot operator and user. π€
Yes !INDEED, that is one of the next things we're looking into. Already running some tests with the !STRIDE bot indeed, that tries to filter out and upvote posts that log a walk or run of 5km or more.

At this point in time, only those two. I've set up the system a couple of weeks ago to test it, and it seems to work fine. But I haven't had any time yet to continue working on it, as the commenting of the bots had higher priority. I also still have to look into the upvoting-comment of TheStrider, as I will probably also use the same strategy for that as for the tipping bots. However, that needs different coding.

Thinking about it !INDEED, and testing out the first version with !STRIDE
The difficulty is to decide on the curation, what do we curate on? And how do we filter on that. For The Strider it is fairly easy. Looking for combinations of certain words and terms, and I can get 90% hitrate, with some false positives, that receive an upvote without them actually having walked 5km, but I'll take that hit with pleasure.
But how could we scan for a post that brings "hope" for instance?

To qualify for an upvote of The Strider, you need to post about a walk or run of 5km or more, in the Actifit or Exhaust community.
It's currently still in testing phase, so nothing official yet. Looking at how useful it would be, and if it would be appreciated by the community (as we had some issues with that before, hence the bad reputation score).

So, imagine I post a run of 5km+, do I need to do something myself, or by hazard someone could give me a !STRIDE (or an upvote?) or is it the Stride bot which detects this (or you manually) and will give an upvote? I'm sorry but it's not really very clear to me... !WEIRD !INDEED

Yes, delegating HP would definitely be a plus! I did a small update today, removing the comments on the upvoted posts, as they now also appear in the Daily Summary posts. And, I've added some explanation about the upvoting, and the possibility to delegate to @thestrider . When time comes, I would then also pay back a large part (80-90%?) of the earnings to the delegators.

Another good thing about those !IDD, !WRD, !HOP, and STR tokens is that they no longer leave a comment under every token tipping attempt (whether successful or failed), so it won't quickly increase the size of the comments section anymore. π We would still receive notifications on the #Ecency frontend for every tipped token to a recipient as well as tip back to the tipper. π !DIY
