I heard a lot about the Turkish currency going down in Value. For better or worse, it's the reason many Libyans travel there as our currency is still stronger than yours.

Yup, it's very common in celebrations because it's expensive as an everyday sweet but cheap as a luxury treat. (e.g. Weddings.)

It's too expensive here. While 1 slice of baklava used to be 1 lria, now it is about 20 liras.
