I thought Brave created BAT? Would be nice if they added more coins though and ways to micro-tip with alternatives like Hive!

They did create BAT. Basic Attention Token. But what can you actually do with it. You can do advertising with it. Web2.5 whoop ti do. It's not Web3 & it seems like the only exchanges you can use it on all require KYC. That plus Hive is already token with higher value & and has actual real world use cases going for it. You can actually do more with Hive than BAT ever has thought of. Hive could make Brave an actual Web3 browser. IPFS, Tor, ENS names, etc and then to have that all powered by Hive.
Just imagine what things could be done if they integrated Hive.

They seem more interested in Solana.

Thats so unfortunate

Oh I would love for that to happen, but I think it's impossible, at least for now.

BAT? I think I had 22.5 or so, but now they're gone because I refuse KYC. I can't even tip them to websites. Gone! I still use Brave though, because it works with most of the websites I want to access. And Firefox takes care of the others.

Thats what I do. I turned on Brave ads for about 10 minutes and turned them right back off. I even signed up to accept BAT at one time a couple years ago. Got rid of that too. Lol.
