Can you tell me more about these decisions? I only play casually, but I barely notice inconsistencies in the game or any bugs that aren't caused temporarily by #Hive nodes.

You're talking about Axie Infinity right? I should've noticed. But I excuse them for being new games as Splinterlands had its share of problems at the start too.

Nevermind, buddy. Yeah. Axie looks like a startup mvp if you compare to Splinterlands right now. But people gets blinded because is in eth territory (now in Matic)

Yeah, it's sad that the majority of people compare the new projects early versions, with the best project's current versions, but this type of human nature makes innovation necessary.

Even axie founder concurs that the current axie model is not attractive outside a direct financial scheme. Lets see, but at this point Im quite bearish on axie.

Realizing and admitting that, is a great first step for improvement. This game shows promise if they tried to fix it soon, won't matter if their attempt at that failed.
