I hope the extensions I use get updated fast enough. I'll be on the "frontlines" since I use Fedora ahhaha

I could say the same myself. Fedora nails that sweet spot of never breaking while catching up to the latest and greatest. I have very comfortably bragged about GNOME being a better experience to macOS users. Using Fedora has been one of the best decisions I have ever taken in technology.

I can undoubtedly say the same. Fedora is simply wonderful.
I have tried in the past Linux, but unfortunately for gaming is not the proper environnement to have.
Gaming has become a lot better. I have faced some issues with Wayland. It is not as smooth as Windows. Depending on the games you pick, Linux could be just fine. I mostly play @splinterlands and few other blockchain games. Bottles has been a great help to get Windows apps working: https://flathub.org/apps/com.usebottles.bottles
If you have an old computer that is used as a backup device, Using Linux is one of the best things you can do.
Oh yes it looks very good.
Do you think it would make sense to use exactly this?

I use GNOME 44 and it has been a great experience. GNOME is customizable with extensions to make it look like whatever the desktop environment you like.
