Foreign bank note collection

Whenever I'm travelling I try to keep some spare cash in my wallet to add to my collection at home. It makes me happy to look at the old notes and remember the fun times abroad - especially in Asia #showandtell #travel

Hmmm, have you ever traveled to Turkey? I was surprised that I didn't see Turkish lira there. People generally like to travel to Turkey for the south coast.
I also like to collect coins. !LUV

Yes, I have been to Istanbul. However, just for an all-expenses-paid business trip so I basically just saw the airport, the hotel, and the office and did not get to pick up any bank notes. But the people and the food were great :)!

@vonsi, sorry! You need more $LUV to use this command.

The minimum requirement is 10.0 LUV in your liquid wallet.

More LUV is available from Hive-Engine or Tribaldex

People used to collect these in the past, my mother used to collect mail stamps but she knew people who collected money bills.

I'm pretty sure you haven't been to #Libya, right?

Have some !PIZZA with !LUV for sharing~

Thanks for your reply.
You are right that collecting bank notes & coins will be a thing of the past. Personally I also prefer paying cashles by credit cards. But the old notes are - like your mother's stamp collection - a nice memorabilia.
You are right. The closest I have been to Libya was in a Libyan restaurant for Chicken Shawarma, which tasted absolutely fantastic.

PIZZA!

Cool collection! I like foreign currency too. Have a little, but never been to any of those places.

When I first saw this one, I thought that was CZ from Binance on the bill! 😆
