Good morning
A friend on mine just moved to his new house.
Building a house in Nigeria now cost alot especially when you are a middle class citizen, after spending lots of money to build a house, and the house is ready for use there comes the problem of packing from the old house unpacking into the new house. It is stressful and vigorous to offload and keep everything to a proper place.
Sometimes I give kudos to our wives,sisters,mothers and/girl child because when it comes to unpacking and setting the house,they do alot. Placing each gadget at a designated corner in the house is not easy.
The system of house construction in Nigeria doesn't help in the situation,what I am saying is that in some countries you just need view boxes to move your little belongings to a new house because government own properties but here you work hard and build your house, aquire properties,then it is a must to move all you have acquired as properties from one house to another.
And in Nigeria you can't just move without being disturbed by one or two security agents,this is not done to defend or effect security but for extortion.
For me,packing and unpacking are both big task when settling down into a new house 🏠
