California is one of the hottest places with a great, warm atmosphere, although I don't know that style of music, the slightly melancholic tune reminded me of many other songs from my own music.

I wouldn't really say any of this is tied to my youth, but I enjoy music across all genres and decades, so I don't really mind sharing some of this stuff here and there.
