I think some of my favorite Ringo songs are actually his covers. He did a cover or two of some classic Buck Owens country tracks and those are quite good. Since you aren't a big country fan you may have never heard the original version of "Act Naturally", but the Ringo version on Help! is great. Help is easily in my top three most favorite Beatles Albums.
