I pretty much have similar usages with the front ends to Hive. I think one of the largest missing pieces to our blockchain is a better method of discovery of new content. Either that...or someone needs to teach me how to do it better :D

It can definitely be tough! I think your best bet is narrowing it down by communities but finding some of those that are active can be hard at times.
