A POST FOR THOSE WHO DON'T KNOW CORSICAN SONGS
Hello dear friends,
here are three examples of Corsican songs.... let's say you either love them or hate them 😂 I like them so much it gives me the creeps!
The interesting thing is that, although Corsica is part of France, there is no way to denying the south-Italian influence or the influence by the Orient.
The language is much more like Neapolitan than French, while the half tones are of Arabic origin.
Their traditions are also more similar to the Sicilian ones, where when you are a widow you wear black...
So, if you have time, have a look and a listen.
The first two are music tracks of a male choir, which is more traditional because men used to go out in the evening to the bar and sing together.

eccovi tre esempi di canti corsici.... diciamo che o si amano o si odiano 😂 a me piacciono da far venire i brividi!
La cosa interessante é che malgrado la Corsica faccia parte della Francia non si puó assolutamente negare l' influenza sud-italiana e neanche quella orientale.
La lingua assomiglia molto di piú al napoletano che al francese, mentre i mezzi toni sono ancora di origine araba.
Anche le loro tradizioni sono simili alle siciliane, dove da vedova ci si veste di nero...
Insomma se avete tempo dateci un occhiata ed un ascoltatina.
I primi due sono pezzi di un cori maschile, che é piú tradizionale perché gli uomini uscivano la sera al bar e cantavano insieme.
