we are approaching Halloween and so today I am sharing some photos taken at my dear friend's house who owns a collection of funeral miniatures 😄
This is the first time I see such a selection and I found it very original despite a bit macabre 😂
This small collection displayed in the window ranges from wagons to different cars and graves....

È la prima volta vedo una scelta di questo genere e l'ho trovata molto originale malgrado un po' macabra 😂
Questa piccola collezione esposta in vetrina va dai carri alle diverse macchine e tombe....

Sono entusiasta di questa vetrina e degli altri oggetti da collezione. Gli ausili per l'ultimo corso dovrebbero essere bellissimi. Nella vecchia parrocchia abbiamo avuto per molti anni un carro funebre, che era trainato da due cavalli. Avendo il mio appartamento all'ingresso della strada che porta al cimitero, di tanto in tanto vedevo il corteo funebre. Erano momenti commoventi ma anche nostalgici.
Essere accompagnati alla tomba in una Jaguar Type E è qualcosa che non avrei mai immaginato, ma è molto affascinante (@w74).

Seeing all these toys reminded me of my childhood, the same way we used to keep cars so beautifully and play with them and have so much fun.
I imagine, miniatures are really nice toys for children, also to discover and learn to interact with other people 😃

I had once the idea, many years ago and never realized, to arrive at the opening of my solo show in a camel-drawn hearse. Where I was at the time in Lethbridge, Canada, a old fashioned hearse could possibly have been found, but a camel not so easy. There was a Llama farm nearby, but they just don't have that sinister look, are rather cute. As for a car hearse, back then there always was one old-timer hearse in the parade on Whoop-Up day (Rodeo).
Now this is too long ago. Can't find anything on line, but on a Lethbridge social site, I found this - might be an addition to the collection you are showing:
