RE: A Sliver of Silver

Good picks!

I think our generation gives Seger all his credit. He was everywhere and for good reason—every single thing he wrote was great. But the younger generations may not be as aware of him because he invested well when he was on top and now has plenty of money and doesn't really go out of the way to spread his music around. For awhile he was one of the holdouts on allowing his music to be purchased digitally. I remember being annoyed that I couldn't buy his music anywhere, so I gave up and bought some of his CDs used, had them sent over from the US, and ripped the music myself. He was also holding out on streaming for awhile. Did he finally give in and allow it? I don't use any streaming service so I don't know.

You know what, I am not sure on that one. I think you can listen to him on Spotify. I have a couple of his albums on vinyl and those are great. He gets a lot of love in the Michigan Record group I am in on Facebook.
