As a child, I had some inkling that women were considered inferior when my mother couldn't be served in the bar of the pubs she frequented but was confined to the snug. Then there was my application for a library membership, which required my father's signature rather than my mother's.
When I started my legal business in the early '80s, there were still very few women in the field except in secretarial positions, and I would often get phone calls from people asking to speak to the man in charge. I thought the whole thing was ridiculous, of course, although I would never have described myself as a feminist.
Far be it from me to describe you in a way that you wouldn't describe yourself. I think you have sufficient command of the English language to choose the words :)
I would characterize you as a survivor. You are clever, and practical and insightful. You have exactly the qualities necessary for an entrepreneur. As an entrepreneur you didn't have to look for a job. You made your own job. I haven't got your talent.
For one thing, I have no sense of money. Money for me is an abstract concept. It has no physical shape or limit. Can you imagine anyone being an successful entrepreneur with that perspective? Fortunately, I don't own things... don't covet things. But money does go through my fingers when I have it...mostly I give it away :)))
Plus, I lack your confidence.
Because of my limitations, I was always an employee. As such I was subject to the biases of potential employers. That is the fate of lowly employees.

I'm not sure I'm much of an entrepreneur. I made my own job because I knew I could never take orders. I'm not much good with money either. I should be rich but though I have very few possessions, don't smoke or drink and rarely take holidays, money seems to slip through my fingers too.
